...they dont really like anyone thats not human. they used to get into fights with them, a really long time ago.

its kinda weird. because ancestors and stuff are supposed to be suuuuuuper old. but theyre still alive!

You may be or you may not be. But how you view yourself is usually more important anyway.

Ha! You never know. Species and things are all mixed up. I'm not exactly a normal undead. And I've met many others who were more than one thing. Perhaps you can ask your ancestors.
